Nadine Woodward (former news anchor) had no business running a city. Great as a ribbon cutter but made a bunch of shitty hires. Got sideways with the city council and thought acting like Trump was a good persona to take. Total failure.

The troll Lisa Brown is there to pad her state pension service credits. Ran as a moderate. Lied her ass off and is going down the Seattle/Portland route.

Spokane has one shot on the next mayoral cycle (couple years out). Throbber knows one of the potential candidates and he would be a good moderate. Excellent name recognition and he knows where the bodies are buried. The commies will try to bury him.

The city council is a 6-1 commie veto proof majority right now. Need to turn that around to 4-3 at least.

Sad because it had great momentum coming out of old mayor David Condon’s administration. Balances budget. Homeless bums under control and policed. New businesses coming to town.

Now 38% vacancy rate downtown. Zombies wandering the streets. Lying Bob’s policies won’t help. Sane people are fleeing and taking their lives across the state line.

Throbber will be joining them permanently soon enough.
 
We rarely visit Spokane from CDA anymore. Stayed at the Davenport for our anniversary a few year ago, walked out front to find one homeless guy pissing in the bushes out front and another trying to light old cigarette butts he'd scavenged from the sidewalk.

Not really much reason to go past Cabela's anymore.

I do like the buffet at the Davenport but haven't been in a long time.

Visiting Spokane from west of the mountains is like going to paradise. When people over their complain about the homeless problem I have to laugh because it's nothing like the Seattle-metro area.

The Davenport is a cool spot and there are some great walking distance options around the area there. Going across the river and the park downtown is a nice little spot, too. Even with Tranny Day, Spokane is 10x better than west of the mountains.
 
The Davenport was where we got our hangover cure breakfast after a hard night of drinking before a hard day of work during my three months there in 1980

The girls were easy in Spokane too

You've got to be pretty tough to be homeless in Spokane. Winter can be brutally cold and summers oppresively hot.

It's always fun to see what's going on in Downtown Spokane when I go by on my train.... even at 3 am the zombies are out and about even at 5 degrees... it's nuts
