I’m sure you would have liked him to wear a white hood instead of black, but I do agree with you on the overall scene from Penix. Barring the coordinator calling down to the sideline and telling him his dog was killed by a Husky fan, which I’m not ruling out yet based on how the game went today, it was a weird look.

Or he was in pain from an injury he has been battling and didn't want to talk with the media afterwards, particularly if it didn't feel great to talk. My guess is that he aggravated his ribs at the end of the OSU game or during the game vs. WSU. He was sailing some balls and throwing off his back foot against WSU, which he doesn't do when normal and doesn't feel the need to protect his body.
 
Who knows? All I know is there's false bravado from Oregon people pretending like they're hoping he's 100% so there's no excuses but hoping he actually isn't because he's 2-0.
