Really hard to project how Campbell would have done. I don't think anywhere near what we actually did in 2022 or 23 though. I actually think they could have done decent with the guys they had around but he probably can't get a portal QB and does some shit like start Morris. I think he might have actually verbally accepted the job then slept on it and realized he could make millions at a little school with no pressure and lived large in Iowa instead of getting what Fisch is now.

I don't defend losing records. Campbell had them
COVID season and maybe the season following really did well for try hard coaches and programs for whatever reason. Campbell was probably smart to use it to get more money out of Iowa State and cash checks. I feel like he's a guy who might work well at a bigger program like 20 years ago plus but not now.
What's Danielson shown other than that Jeanty is a unique guy who didn't take a bag to portal? Isn't he also legit mega Christian (which won't fly at UW) and he's guilty of either not running Genty more than 25 times at Oregon or not being able to talk him out of a pitch count when he had the chance to win the game?
