I understand the great fear that we would be the odd man out in the reshuffling of the power conferences. On the surface this is a realistic fear, but WASHINGTON is still a top 15 revenue producing program in the country and #1 in the Pac-12.

That's right, despite stepping on our dicks repeatedly for over a quarter of a century, we still pull in more dough than Sweatshop New Money U and USC.

Seattle is a legitimate media market with plenty of talent to be a desirable addition to any conference.

The longer UW prolongs a power move like this, and the more the ghost of Don James dissipates into montlake, the less clout we have to make it.

I’ve said this, not jokingly. It may be too late to fix the Pac-12. Oregon and Washington should be exploring how to trick the Big Ten into taking them. Not a new idea. I don’t know about complacent Washington, but Oregon is fed up with the Pac-12. USC is just waiting for the chance to go independent. Nobody else cares, or if they do they’re not relevant enough to matter.

It’s hard to imagine this conference almost dismantled the Big-12 not that long ago. Texas fucked us all.

Since we've already fagged out College Football trying to make it into the the NFL, maybe we just need accept reality and get on with the 32 team power house program super league. All the power 5's need to dump the shitty schools which never have a shot.

While I agree. I don’t think we have the leadership to prove this is true

UW is/are total cucks. Just take it....no aggressiveness at all. They would never try and and separate from P12....never. Wouldn’t even cross their mind.

It would take Texas, OU and USC on the same call inviting UW. I don’t think even then

I've said and thought the Big 10 would be awesome. UW is more of a Big 10 school that most of the Big 10

That would suck. Associating with the California schools has benefits, isn’t that right AAWU member?

Winding up in a conference with cultists, not the fun kind, and a community college that rents space to a truck driving school would be a real donkey punch.

I want that Big Ten money and more competent conference leadership, but without losing the California schools. I know it’s too much to ask. You’d think that at least least a few ADs in the Pac-12 could get their assholes un-gaped long enough to do something big.

Mullens and Cohen are ranked 1 and 3. All it lists is football and men’s basketball hires, but it’s enough to see that maybe only Wazzu’s guy, Pat Chun tonight, and the Doovils one has ever done something out of the ordinary. Chun brought the Lane Train to FAU. I was afraid USC had gotten a competent AD for the first time in a while, since he hired Fickell at Cincy. But he’s also the same one who was Colorado’s AD that hired Dan Hawkins, Embree, and Mike McIntyre. 0/3 so him not firing Clay Helton this year shows the continuation of his judgment.

Scott Larry was soooo close. The other Big-12 teams realized they’re the Mountain West with no mountains if Texas bounces along with A&M, Nebraska, and the Okies. So they caved and gave Texas free use to do what they wanted.

Imagine if there were two divisions of the Pac-8 and the Desert Mountain Plains shit: Arizona schools, Colorado, mountain west Utah, Texas, Oklahoma, and then Oklahoma State and either Texas Tech or Kansas or anything.

We’d have more hicks but the conference wouldn’t be a laughingstock the way it is now.

It's my understanding that the rules put in place in October before the season:

A - rightfully awarded UW the North.

B - rightfully awarded the next best team if UW couldn't play, 3-2 Oregon.

I fucking hate our AD for not doing anything about it but in the end, but these are the rules everyone agreed to.

Oregon wasn't given this because of branding or any other reason.

Where is Rob Mullens sending a delegation to? LA to forfeit the Pac-12 Championship on behalf of the North? To Seattle to lend Jimmy some offensive linemen? To China to find the fuck that undercooked that bat? To San Francisco to let Larry Scott know that he will no longer be party to this corruption they schemed before the season?

i have no idea if the 'ou/texas are coming but only if texas keeps LHN revenue' rumor was true (i have to think it was) but larry scott is fucking stupid to not say 'sure, bring that dreck of a network that only texas fans will give a shit about, we'll figure out the revenue with the other teams later.'
