Some bitch dyke pulled me over in Fife 20 years ago. I did nothing wrong. She claimed I wasn't wearing a seat belt. I was. It was total fishing for revenue for some small town. I had to go to Tacoma (probably 40 miles from where I lived at the time) a few months later to contest it. The judge threw it out, but it was a pain and a wasted day.

One of those things that the police don't really think about. We all have had bad traffic stops purely for the ticket revenue. I haven't voted for a local police ballot for decades as a result.

The ticket revenue thing is a total lie at least in Kali. A speeding ticket in court would be say $400.00 the city would get maybe 20-30 bucks. All court fees and penalty assessments. The courts run on this stuff. The city does not.

DUI's pay because most are plea bargained and the city prosecutor gets to decide how much goes where to a certain extent.
