I’m sure you’ve heard this but you make the change to streaming and go with say Netflix and something that will give you live tv. Cool, you’re saving money. Then you add all of these other streaming channels and you’re now spending $50-100+ more than what you had with cable or satellite.

We had basic cable in our Seattle hood back in the day. Forget what it was called then. Late 90's. Kept promising the digital upgrade to the mega channel box (with porn) but never showed up.

I bought a pirate box on a job site and used that for awhile. Then it got zapped

So I tried this DIRECTV thing when it was still standard def even. Probably 99

Haven't gone back but it did have issues with the weather in Seattle
