One thing I'd say is their in-state aid packages has enabled them to compete for bright in-state kids much more over the last 10 years. Dont forget they are untethered from OHSU in and do t bare the Bridget if that huge capital budget. UW, in contrast, does. So you have to look at the numbers in context. UW is a mid-sized city in its own right.

You’re kids decisions and behaviors and habits will mean much more than where they went to school. My Brunonian will not likely ever make a lot of money. She’s a heavy duty quant but doesn’t value the brass ring and hates bro culture. Probably will be an academis prowess person professionally. Good thing she will inherit some money.
