Id trust Inslee to sell the NBA on it. Murray would rather worry about gay acceptance training and measures over common sense sports teams. People dont spend money on local businesses because of the seahawks. He must have used that in his decision.
 
I tend to believe the NBA in not trying to get to Seattle ... right now they have no compelling reason to do so given that they are happily rolling in the money.

Seattle needs to get the arena built for a number of different reasons and start by embracing the concept of the NHL. Without an arena in place to be able to take in a NBA team if/when available, it will never happen. Too many moving parts need to be completed if starting from scratch again.

Ed Merry has nothing to do with this. Chris Hanson's client went a different direction and none of the other billionaires in this town want anything to do with an NBA franchise at the moment. Case closed.
