He has a point. I know people want to think Ross is the best.... But I see Ross more as a playmaker. String was a better offensive player.

One thing that is wrong though is that Petersen didn't kick String off. He gave him a choice and String went elsewhere.

String was somewhat unproven, but he probably would have been the best player on offense.

It's hard to decipher who is best on defense. I think Kikaha is the most valuable, but it's splitting hairs. Peters could end up the best of te bunch in the NFL.

2014 Shelton is the best defensive player we've had since Empterman.

I'm going to find it interesting when you hear the same people that trashed Dubya for his "war mongering" that come back and say that maybe Dubya wasn't so far off when ISIS goes on the offensive.

Disagree. He's really good, but he had 40 tackles and 7 of his 7.5 sacks against Hawaii, EWU, and Georgia State. Shelton's value goes beyond stats and a NT leading the team in tackles is phenomenal, but his season is being inflated from those dreckfest teams. Kikaha has been more consistent and better in Pac 12 play. He's on pace to break all time records.
