News this morning was that only 1/3 of the Red Army amassed at the border had even been deployed.

This is at a point equivalent to right after Pettis scored the touchdown that put us up 7 - 0 on Bama in the Sugar Bowl with 57 minutes of game time remaining.

There's almost no scenario where this isn't a case of him biting off more than he could chew. Even if his uninspired troops take Kiev and manage to install a puppet regime, the insurgencies that will fight back in subsequent years will be Iraq on steroids. The entire country outside of Crimea is now completely ungovernable by anyone with even a hint of pro-Russian sentiment.

To say nothing of the rest of the NATO deadbeats now seeing the necessity in funding their own militaries. Putin's blunder here will go down as one of the fucking dumbest foot shootings in tyrant history.

Word on the street is that he wasn’t Obama’s type; Klitschko was persuaded to withdraw and throw his support to Poroshenko. Poroshenko was corrupt as fuck (Burisma & Hunter) and lost re-election in 2019 after receiving less than half the votes he received in 2014.
