Back yard this morning.
 
Just drove through Leavenworth back and forth over Thanksgiving. Cool fucking city! I always roll my eyes at how fake it is, though. Not actually a German town, just decided to be to get clicks.

I understand and appreciate why they re-invented themselves as Berchtesgaden to save the town. I still think it's cheesy and I'm entitled to my opinion.

We had a German exchange student, took her there and said they made it a German town. She just laughed and said not even close.

But I always enjoyed it.

They converted to a German town before clicks were invented - last time I was there, could not find a bratwurst mit sauerkraten anywhere. It was about 10:30 PM when I got there, sidewalks were rolled up.

If we are bagging on rolling up the sidewalks at 10:30, I’m out, turn that racket down, and GTFO my lawn! We were there in June, and the “Early Bird specials” were plentiful…
