He shit-stomped CoachPeeth, Mora, Dantoni, and Shaw so far this year, and the team is improving. I'll take that, if that means he's a bad coach. I also missed all the national titles Harbaugh and Shaw won with Andrew Luck. Mosster47, his thyroid condition, AZDuck (who has disappeared once Oregon started winning) and a few others think it's some sort of revelation that the Ducks may not be as good next year without Mariota. Well, no shit, Sherlocks. These are the same clowns saying this year would be a disaster because of Helfrich.

And I'm pleasantly surprised with the results thus far. I meant it when I said "what ntxduck said" upthread. Here's what he said:

Stanford is horrible this year. If Helfrich can beat Utah and win the Pac 12 ccg (making the playoff), I will buy in with a 100% quook boner. Maybe the Zona loss helped the team/staff turn a corner. From what I've been reading, seems like a lot of the players are finally seeing the correlation in results between how they practice and how they play. Sloppy practices was the biggest difference between the Chip regime and Helfrich's. LIFPO
