This is the worst UW-related event for me. Perhaps it’s recency bias, but at least UW had a national title under its belt when the Don James shit happened, and my interest in UW football was so low at the time that the Willingham shit happened.

2008 was worse than this, once it got into late October and it was clear UW was a 0-2 win team. Fuck Emmert and all the woke crybabies who forced Willingham on us.
 
Hang in there, it's part of our story. We will figure something out. Plus, now we get to become SEC fans. :-D

I may be only a mere remote satellite orbiting around your universe Derek, but after witnessing you be so numb and apathetic about Husky Football for so many years it’s been such a joy to slowly see you get excited about the program again. It’s been such a big part of your life. You wrote several books on it for fuck’s sake.

Problem is when you take your heart out of its little protective case it’s now open to getting hurt, and when greedy, selfish, two-faced life insurance salesmen take it an stomp all over it is devastating and it’s normal and healthy to get upset.
 
So DeBoner is one of those people who can’t handle gray weather. I get that. Seasonal Affective Disorder is a real thing.
