...about why TCU deserves to get in ahead of Baylor reminds me: I knew this whole fucktarded four-team playoff would fail, but I didnt think it would happen so soon.

No shit.

Anyone who didn't see this coming after watching the NCAA deal with this for basketball every year is retarded.

Same thing will happen with an 8 team playoff, except instead of TCU and Baylor, it'd be Arizona, Kansas State and Michigan State. And if it were 16, we'd be debating UCLA, Oklahoma and Clemson.

Exaaaaaaaaactly.

Four will always be a problem, eight teams would be a huge improvement. Any team rated #9 and bitching can go fuck themselves.

The 69th team in Bball pitches a fit every year too.

If Baylor beats KSU, they will jump TCU. Nothing is static in this deal.

Sorry. Eight teams is fucktarded too. Who's going to go to these games, if played at neutral sites? If played on teams' home fields, just wait for the uproar over where the 4vs5 game gets played.

4 team playoff will be lots of fun.

It's better than the old system.

There's no perfect solution.

Quit being whiny faggots, sit back, smoke a bowl and enjoy.

Big deal. If this were a year ago Baylor and TCU wouldn't even be sniffing the possibility of a championship and would be settling for a BCS bowl. Now one of them at least gets a shot. Four is a lot better than two, and eight is a lot better than both of them. Quit bitchin about progress.

the neutral site playoff games where literally 6 days notice is given are destined to fail... there's literally a groupon for the pac12 title game that came into my email today. i live 15 minutes from Levi's Stadium and no fucking chance i'm going to that game... this guy will be sittin' home, eating nachos, drinking a cab that tastes like a table wine and waiting for the wife to go to sleep so I can find some solid asian porn to "watch for 5 minutes".

Two things happened today to make me think that you might be wrong:

1) The Big 12 stated that they'd submit both teams as "Co-Champions" and let the committee decide which of the two teams were the better team. So far, the committee has consistently shown TCU to be the better of the two teams.

2) Baylor apparently hired a PR firm today to help get their POV out regarding why they are more deserving than TCU.

My guess is that KState beats Baylor this weekend and makes it all academic anyway.

As a TCU alum, having the chance to screw Baylor over is just a small payback for their BS in the 90s.

Fuck progress. Fuck the computers, and fuck the playoff. Bring back the fucktarded split championships and January 1st bowls, and let everyone that complains go fuck themselves.

It's a semi fucktarded argument, but still holds a little weight that TCU's 1 loss is way better than Baylor's 1 loss.

Losing to Baylor on the road by 3 > way better than choking to West Virginia by 14.

If you stripped team names, TCU would be shooed in over Baylor.

I like the playoff, it's going to reward the teams that are the best at the end of the year which should be what matters.

How many times did SC have to murder some big 10 team in the Pete Carroll era and be called #3 because a bunch of college kids fucked up 1 time against Oregon St. or Stanford?

8-team would be sublime, because it gives just enough wiggle for the best teams that faltered early to prove they are numero uno.

Edit: I would have loved to see Tui go against OK, FSU, and possibly rematch Miami in 2000. This shit is going to be fun, let's enjoy.
