Blair Angelo from 247 said that in the latest camp in Nevada Mells looked much better than he had previously (which wasn't good but he was a sophomore in HS).

We'll see what happens but if I'm being honest, this offer and probable commitment doesn't do anything for me. We are likely taking only 1 DT in that class and I wish we aimed a little higher. Kinda on the level of a Noa Ngalu or Ricky McCoy.

Being first is okay by me. UW was first to offer 3* ZTF. They saw something they liked and pulled the trigger early. No one really offered Gaines or Jaylen Johnson either. This staff has earned the obligatory LIPO.

This is actually a really good poont. Who saw Gaines as the life wrecker he became? ZTF as well. If there are two spots I trust our coaches to evaluate kids it's DL and DB. They have earned it.
