Signing Day Game Thread

Jimmy says he can say with certainty, half of the incoming freshman DBs will get legitimate playing time this year (mentioned Cam Williams and Kam Fab by name because Cam is already enrolled and Kam will enroll next quarter)

My assumption is all 4 get playing time but 2 will burn their redshirt based on the way he said it. Interesting which two of those four jump ahead.

He also basically stated that Taylor, Molden, McKinney, and Bryant are all starters and the 3 redshirt freshman will be fighting for that last starting spot. Whether that is Dom on the corner and Molden/Bryant moving to safety or Irvin/Gordon at safety and Molden at corner will be fun to see.

He gave Gilchrist a pity shout out.

Jimmy also mentioned they plan on utilizing the 4 game RS rule much more this year because the talent coming in is so high. Feels like most everyone will get reps within those 4 game limits.

Helps when the DL and LB are so thin and the entire DB room is going pro, but should be fun.
 
I know it was only one game against a legit passing attack, but McKinney looked lost in the Rose bowl.

LIPO. The first few games with Budda, Jones, and king were shit as well. First BIG game with not a ton of experience. He’s not the other two but he’ll be good Or Fabio will replace him.
 
It fucking blows that Austin Jones has concision issues. He could have played at the next level, if he stayed healthy
