I don’t know specifics about Grubb, I do know that Shep just wants to stay for sure. They love it here.

Shepherd is obviously a good WR coach, and he’s about the only guy on this staff that actually recruited worth a shit

There is a certain logic to this. In the absence of better options might be stuck with this.

Shep has charisma and could probably recruit, and retain.

Keep Mack, keep the offense and verbiage.

They would have to go on an extended Fuck Kalen tour and hand over their cell phones and passwords for a forensic, states evidence examination, however.
