I'll miss the TNT show (yeah, I know it's on woke ESPN now, but they'll find a way to ruin it).

I always thought Shack was shafted in the whole Shaq v. Kobe thing, but Kobe was younger.

He really wasn’t. Kobe was not without fault, but Shaq showed up out of shape every year and caused a lot of drama. He was on his last run in Miami. They maybe got rid of him a year early, but the Lakers made the right decision.

Agree to disagree I guess. Certainly neither were innocent, but Kobe never met a shot he didn't like, and IIRC, they struggled for a few years and he whined and wanted a trade. Back then I sort of followed the NBA.

They were 2 alphas that wanted LA to be “their” team and the their team thing is stupid nba shit. The fact is: had Dr Buss traded Kobe rather than Shaq the Lakers have 2 less championships.
