What if you fuck around with the bacteria? Covid was around for decades then St. Fow Chee and the chicoms fucked around with it and we found out.

I heard a hurricane wiped out the trees but that was years ago
 
Indian River grapefruit is still around, I buy it every time I head to pick up people at the Jacksonville airport. The last hurricane (I think it was called Milton or something) set back some regrowth which caused a bit of a shortage.
 
Smuggling fusarium into the country was just stupid. It can be easily found if one wants to play mad scientist.
