This question is in regards to the nature of our new MAHA board.
When you log onto Hardcore Husky and click "Recent Discussions" on your PC, would you be bothered by sometimes seeing politically-charged MAHA topics showing up in the results?
In regards to the Tug Tavern, I removed that board from Recent Discussions roughly three years ago so that people coming here just for football, Yella's board and other sports can see what's new without having politics up in their grill. If someone wants to talk politics, they have to seek out the Tug Tavern. That has worked well overall.
Would you like to see something similar for the MAHA board? Or are you comfortable with seeing periodic political MAHA comments in the recent discussion feed?
The poll is anonymous. Feel free to PM me as well, if you feel the need.

It doesn't need to show up if it bothers people. Those that want to go to the politics know where it is
I have never used recent discussions but I guess a lot of folks do
Give the power to the people Putin. Everyone wins

59% of users use mobile or tablet, which doesn't have recent discussions option.

When we? created the MAHA board, the intent was not to be politics driven, but provide for conversation about healthy living and public health. Public Health and Policy are inherently political. We? knew we couldn't completely avoid "politics". We also hoped it could be a "higher-level" discussion than the Tug.

Here is to an engaging, productive Health Policy discussion as it relates to the [MAHA board].

Thank you for your understanding.

Pods,

When we? created the MAHA board, the intent was not to be politics driven, but provide for conversation about healthy living and public health. Public Health and Policy are inherently political. We? knew we couldn't completely avoid "politics". We also hoped it could be a "higher-level" discussion than the Tug.

Over the next couple days - during the confirmation hearings for RFK Jr to the Cabinet Position of Secretary of Health and Human Services - this conversation has the potential to become pretty Tuggy. To the degree possible, we hope to avoid prototypical Tug flame-wars.

Undeniably this moment is the Superbowl of the MAHA Movement.

Knowing this conversation will simmer down in a few days - returning the MAHA board to some semblance of normalcy - here is to an engaging, productive Health Policy discussion as it relates to the RFK Jr's Cabinet Appointment at HHS.

Thank you for your understanding.

I always use Recent Discussions. To me, the MAHA showing up there would only be an issue if there was so much traffic in that forum that you'd never see the actual football, recruiting, etc showing up in Recent. Right now, MAHA isn't getting n the way of traffic from the other forums.
I thought the Tug showing on Recent was only a disaster from the perspective of it basically blocking all other forums from ever appearing in Recent. Similar to the occasional vomit from the now-defunct Duck Refuge.

In addition to gauging feedback from this thread, later this year I will also assess the overall level of engagement with this board.

Which board are we talking about here? I see that Stalin referred to MAHA as a "board." Or are we talking HH in general?

Hardcore Husky isn't going anywhere anytime soon
Though we will soon be undergoing site improvements, which is always a perilous adventure for yours truly.

"Improvements" are what has led us to the state that College Football is in.

I don't know if I've ever visited this site on anything other than my phone, so I don't get a vote.
