Series That Should’ve Ended Sooner

How has no one said Game of Thrones? Never watched it but it seems the nerds all hated the last couple seasons after slurping metric tons of dragon cock the first few.

I mentioned it in the OP.

And don’t knock dragon cock until you’ve tried it.

I can't read

I never watched Arrested D on Fox, kept seeing the re runs pop up on FX, finally watched one (the pilot), and got hooked partially because the boat scene on Balboa was filmed on a booze cruise boat that we rented the night before our wedding..."look, honey, that's the garbage can Tim puked in!"...the writing and on-going gags were brilliant

The last two seasons of sons of anarchy are awful but you’re so invested at that point it’s hard not to see it through.

Mad men should have ended a season earlier.

Currently watching billions[/b] and I think it too has gone a season too long.

7-11. Stat. I will FUCKING fight you over this blasphemy.

@RaceBannon will be my second. Pistols. 10 steps, fire.

Arrested Development should have gone longer originally but never should have done seasons 4 and 5 ten years after the fact.

I like the Office until Michael leaves, though I thought the finale was perfect, love how they handled Dwight and Angela.[/b]

Lost would have been better had they cancelled it after season 3 and left everyone with a million questions, rather than doing season 4 and 5 and leaving everyone with a million questions.

I thought that until I went back to seasons 8 and 9 again. I think Robert California was under appreciated. They could have done more with him, I think his weirdness and intimidation of Andy made season 8 pretty damn funny. They could have ran with that for another season or two. When California leaves is when it got really bad. Season 9 was horrible, and the finale is the only saving grace. Dwight and Angela had a great arc completion, but Jim and Pam's shit got old fast. They also ruined Ryan's character throughout the show, it got so bad that season 9 was helped with him off of it until the finale.

Robert California was funny as hell. He was the only thing saving the show for a while there.
Disagree on GOT. The issue with GOT was they tried to condense like 5 seasons into 2 for the ending.

Exactly. GOT went a little too slow early, repeatedly rushed things to try and catch up (like when Stannis saves the day at the wall or the conclusion of the battle of the bastards), and eventually threw in the towel and rushed through two whole seasons.

They either needed to go faster and narrow the scope early on, or let it run its course over about 12 seasons.

Office was great for four or five seasons. It got dumb at times after they got married. It was watchable but mediocre at times.

* spoiler alert* He should have killed Deb when she busted him[/s] the first time she opened her mouth.

Animal Kingdom is probably going to suck this year. Go ahead and kill smurf off but there's not going to be much of a show without her.

Died of Covid

Maybe next year

LOST is the original GOT

First two seasons were damn near perfect television.

The Office really struggled for me post Michael. He made everything go IMO.
