Why is it stupid? Go ahead and say your quiet part out loud, David Duke.Doing the right thing for the wrong reason is still doing the right thing, and somehow trying to create little academies at Washington Middle School and Garfield was always stupid.

It was stupid because we can have decent honors courses at our neighborhood schools, just like back in “the olden days”. This is an attempt at returning to the neighborhood school model. And Garfield and Washington lost any monopoly on APP coursework years ago.Why is it stupid? My friend was in that in the 90s. He's doing fine. He was the smartest kid I knew by far. Makes six digits and lives on the Sammamish Plateau. It's not the job of smart kids to help average kids or get dragged down. They'll do better on their own. That offends idiotic SJWs though, so it must be stopped. They love to drag down the "privileged."Doing the right thing for the wrong reason is still doing the right thing, and somehow trying to create little academies at Washington Middle School and Garfield was always stupid.
I don't think anyone is arguing that the kids in the program were harmed by it. But they would have done just as well receiving advanced instruction in their neighborhood school. My friend was in that in the 90s. He's doing fine. He was the smartest kid I knew by far. If they have their own class, yes. Some will be in the same class with average and SPED kids. The teacher is supposed to teach five kids with 77-83 IQs and four kids with IQs over 130. She or he will get overworked and the lower kids will fall behind. Everyone loses.I don't think anyone is arguing that the kids in the program were harmed by it. Not a lot of underperforming students are signing up to take the APP coursework in my experience. If they have their own class, yes. Some will be in the same class with average and SPED kids. Garfield is a regular high school with a non-APP population. Washington is regular middle school with a non-APP population.Well, if the high school has 1500 students and 100 are in AP class that leaves them to deal with the 90+% that aren't in AP classes. Not all required classes have an AP component. That was the rationale behind talented and gifted schools. Particularly in "bad neighborhoods" and DEI schools that won't discipline students. For some reason, lot's of inner city school parents try to get their kids into private school because of the poor learning environment in the public schools. Of course you vote for the teacher union candidates who support DEI and no discipline and oppose school choice.

You don't think dark children are smart
That’s what’s unsaid but it’s really no surprise considering the blatant racism toward blacks I’ve read from this guy whenever he tries to make an actual point.I made my contributionHaving nothing to contribute, as usual, Race does exactly that.H is as racist as Biden
