The negotiating period of NFL free agency started Monday morning with the wrong kind of splash for the Seahawks. But the afternoon brought a key re-signing, impacting both their receiving and kick-return corps.

After the Seahawks found out they were losing their top running back and Super Bowl LX MVP, Kenneth Walker III, as well as safety Coby Bryant and edge rusher Boye Mafe, receiver Rashid Shaheed ended up back in Seattle after testing the free-agent market.

The Seahawks were also able to keep cornerback Josh Jobe from getting away, agreeing to a contract more than three hours in.
