I'm almost at that point. Irvin is a fucktard.The Seahawks were just as good with Malcolm Smith starting.

Agree with Boobs. He's a totally one-dimensional pass rusher, who isn't even actually good at that. If he was on another defense, nobody would have any Fucking clue who the guy is.

They can let him play out his contract and pick up a comp pick. He should ball out this season considering he's in a contract year. I think he's a pretty good linebacker actually, but outside 4-3 linebacker has to be the least valuable position in football (aside from guard and center maybe). Some team will give him $10 million a year because he's from Seattle, and then Seattle can laugh at another team grossly overpaying a player like Maxwell.

Put me on a defense with Thomas, Chancellor, Sherman, Wagner, Mebane, and Bennett and even I would look decent sometimes.
 
LBs are a dime a dozen. And Irvin is a certified fucktard. But his situational passrushing ability is a real asset. He speed around the edge is unparalleled.
