I don't get the feeling Pete would trot Haener out there every 1st series of every "open" practice and then pull the rug out from under him in the opener.

God is this really going to happen......

Hunter's health will not be risked. We all know what he can do when healthy so keeping him from injury is the entire objective. I wouldn't be surprised if he barely (or doesn't) plays against EWU.

Haener was with the 2s the entire scrimmage session, which was the meat of the practice. I wouldn't say Eason blew him away in terms of performance, but I would give the edge to him. Sirmon looked the best of the three, but that might have just been that his 3 squad was better than the defense's...

Hunter was suited up but on sideline; looked to be fine.

Eason looked solid and will be the starter. Haener threw some nice balls too but also threw a couple terrible balls. He's a turnover waiting to happen. Sirmon to Chin was the combo of the day....

Puka looked explosive and is going to be a playmaker.

The overall size increase of the OL & DL is apparent. Some serious girthy mfers!

Did any one else notice Levi favoring a knee and Ngata shaking his arm between snaps?

could this simply be because the 1 defense is so good or is it the 2 offense actually is more explosive?

Had a white wrap around one knee and was flexing it a lot from what I saw when he was on sideline...
