Of course they are.

Nobody gave a shit about the doogs in 1990 because the team was winning. We were all doogs, essentially. When the program/franchise has a culture of excellence doogs are harmless (see also Quooks, circa 2009-2012).

When the program/franchise has a culture of mediocrity, doogs must be dealt with.

If the Hawks go 9-7 next year we can start talking about the Hoook war. For now, the idiots can be useful.

The 12s aren't hurting the Seahawk program. Doogs crippled the Husky program. The 12s give the Seahawks the best home field advantage in the NFL. The doogs would militantly attack anyone who dared talk about returning to past glory. The 12s expect championship-level football. The Doogs expect continuity for the sake of continuity.

Where's the equivalent? Being yeehaw simpleton mouth-drooling fans? I guess.

I hate the 12's, but Gladstone makes some good points. 12's at least have high expectations and standards. They won't support losing football like doogs did. The 12's will stop caring.
