My nextdoor neighbor growing up's first name is John but he went by his middle name, Alex. My good friend's birth name is Jacob but he goes by Anthony. I have another friend whose first name is Thomas and middle name is Calvin...he goes by T.C. If I were to call any of them by their given name, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't freak out about it. It's just what they were called growing up, and it stuck. Just as Ted Cruz's given name is Raphael...so fucking what? He got teased as a little boy and Ted stuck. Just like you claim he "hates" his "Mexican" heritage, I doubt he would bat an eye if you called him Raphael.

And BTW, the name Ted is of Greek descent and Raphael is of Hebrew descent. Maybe pick something else with substance? But your back-handed attacks fucking suck.
