Sa'Vell Smalls, 6* 2020 BUCK, Seattle (Kennedy), WA (SIGNED)

Final rankings for rivals tomorrow, is he inside the top 20 or outside the top 20? I’m guess 24.

Rivals he'll be outside for sure.

Sticking with my prediction that he'll end up a 4 star on Rivals (and maybe a pretty big drop), 5 star but dropped some on 247, 5 star on ESPN.

Two types of idiots in this wide world of sports......Those blowing smoke up your ass and ones driving you to get better.....

I hope all three services drop him to a 3-star. I'd rather see him with a chip on his shoulder than a silver spoon in his ass[/b].

Genre porn is a funny thing, sometimes you'll be surprised what rustles your jimmies.

Yea Biggins had some unflattering things to say about him recently but also said the ceiling is pretty high if he puts in the work. They played him at 3 different spots during the all star game. Seems a little harsh to judge him on how well he played when he wasn’t in one spot long enough to do anything.

It’s not harsh. Enough excuses for the kid. Either he will be good or he won’t.

But I thought he was the most important recruit in husky history

If you're talking race relations with a program under Pete? Sure, or close to it if we're talking recent history.

But it's a smoother road with coach jimmyhat here now.

50+ new poasts had me thinking he was Kaho'ing it. Who gives a fuck what the rankings have him finalized as? Irregardless he's a YUGE upgrade at a position of need where we've had gaps in recruiting.

Look at the big man with the big words

Q: You watched Savell Smalls all week In Orlando, what are your thoughts... Floor/Ceiling, how long before he really reaches his potential and what is that potential? Did he impress you or do you think he slips in the rankings?

Biggins: So keeping it real, he struggled during the week. Some of our national guys seeing him for the first time said he was one of the guys who didn't really look like he belonged. During one on one play, he struggled with the size of a lot of the tackles he went up against and wasn't physically able to match up with the size and power he saw. He was moved around from OLB, DE and even DT and played all three positions in the game. He actually made more plays in the game then he showed during the week using his quickness to win one on one matchups when he played over the center. I still like him as a 3-4 OLB and think he still has a chance to be very good in college. I have to think the week going against elite-level talent was a bit humbling and should drive him moving forward. I've said it so many times but there are just different animals in the South and as a west coast homer, it pains me to say that but the size and athleticism you see in the trenches from outside the region is the biggest reason why our teams out here struggle against those teams.

Doog: Because he's not committed to a school named Alabama, The Ohio State University, Clemson, etc.

Biggins: This is a terrible take, and one I see often though. I could care less where a player is going to college, reality is, he was not good during the week and I'm not going to highlight a player who didn't perform. He struggled every day in practice, he flashed a bit during the game but we really need to get over this whole, 'no one is talking up our guys because they don't go to the right college.'

Everything matters. Your? coach is twatting about the NUMBER ONE CLASS(even though he's wrong) and telling recruits at UW's junior day the same thing.

Let's recap:

1. 247 argues Smalls was a bit overrated.
2. Lake is wrong that UW had the #1 class, even though according to the very same 247 that is absolutely the case.

Sco!
