I think we've all crystallized the way to interpret data on these boards now.

if you see a thread with a huge amount of activity since your last visit, then the obvious conclusions to draw are:

1) we have a commit - * note: do not click on thread unless you see a Woof thread not started by purplej

2) ballz having a did not, did too argument with someone in the school yard - do not click

3) we lost a potential recruit who committed elsewhere and in that case no need to click and read the depressing storyline.
