Any of you bitches been to Tallahassee and Gainesville? I live in one and spent considerable time in the other. I grew up in Redmond so my 16+ yrs of souwf observations are. Seattle is low key one of the most segregated cities in the country and one of the least diverse specifically in part due to policies enacted by the city.
Also for example Sand Point didnt change a community charter that had specific language disbarring minorities from living or owning property there until 1997.

Redlining and steering in the Seattle area were very real and still occur with some regularity. I've had friends with personal experiences with this and there's plenty of real research & studies out there to back up the claim. I even did an economic one while at UW.
Not nearly as bad as cross burning on people's front lawns but not exactly post-racial either.
Anyways, I think we should go back to selling Smalls on the advantages of Asian coeds at UW relative to Southern schools.
