Not hypothetical. Using past data to make an educated guess. Alabama has been in every CFB Playoff, 2-2. Clemson has been in the past 3, 1-2. Knowing that and looking the rosters they have, current recruiting trends and other factors, it is a pretty safe assumption that those two teams will continue to compete at the highest level. They are consistent.

If Sav'ell Smalls saw the game today, realizes the only reason Auburn could move the ball was the lack of pass rush, realizes that that would mean the Huskies are a top 5 team, and still doesn't come to Washington, we cannot help him.

However, anybody that watched Florida State tonight and concluded that they were anywhere close to winning an ACC title much less a Natty with Willie Taggert at the helm is fucking delusional
