Because kids like him can affect the class tremendously. He cares who he plays with. Why did Sam Huard commit early?

Literally so he could recruit kids to UW. Sav'ell would do the same. If Smalls was the Kalepo of 2020, it would make a gigantic difference in his career at UW.

I agree it would be beyond great but nothing changes for us? because its a sweat all the way to February LOI and then camp. He's that good

His plan is to come out with a top 12 right after National Signing Day so probably on that Sunday, February 10th.

This will tell us nothing we don’t already know

Disagree. It told us that Stanford and USC are not in Savvy's Top 12. I know... Things change, all the time in recruiting.
