This guy is a fucking retard. Coming off the rose bowl, the spring game in '01 MAYBE had 20k. I couldn't take any more after just the 2nd paragraph.

Gee, fucktard, what do all those "cities" have in common? Besides Columbus, they're all in the middle of fucking nowhere. And including Columbus, there's nothing to do in those places. Yes, Seattle fans are pussies and it pisses me off that more people care about opera and fair trade coffee than football, but what major city draws huge numbers for their spring game anyway? I'd obviously go no matter what but it's a simple fact that the more options people have, the less likely they'll go to a football game.

And bananas beat me to it by .81 seconds. It was sark that changed the format of the spring game. What strikes me as funny is that this is something I would have been bummed about when I was like 10 years old because I wouldn't be able to keep score, see who had the most yards and brag to my friends about who was going to be good next year. It's pretty sad that a supposed grown man is all butthurt about whether they scrimmage with scoreboards or scrimmage without scoreboards. And would anyone believe for one second that if sark was still coach, this drippy cunt, and the LPT would be complaining about not having a "real" spring game? I actually don't think they're really upset about a spring game at all. They're just chaffing because they're not being catered to with sand wedge shots, hot dog contests and who can hit the goal poast first. Isn't there a sounders game this guy can go to instead?

@MelloDawg was the king antagonist on the ST forums. I haven't been on there in years but I gotta him his due for riling up all the Doogs over there.

the biggest problem with a spring game is that nobody knows who'd even be playing since Woody got on the job... would it be the blacks jerseys v white helmets? about the only "fans" interested in watching that game would be edgy recruits from big cities in California who never sign with us anyway.

Myk was a piece of work.

There is a Romar article today where the doogs are out in full force. Apparently he needs two more years before a decision can be made on his future.
 
Myk eventually blocked me on FB and then deserted the Seattle Times forums. I liked that guy, I wanted to know how he felt to be wrong

I didn't read the article but I saw the poll at the bottom which said fans know more than the coaches about how to run the program. I went up and scanned the article and saw people were agreeing with the idea that there should be more fan engagement and bullshit instead of getting our QBs more reps because they all suck right now. I think the coaches know what they're doing. They also want fans to call plays during the spring game like Rich Rod. Fuck that. Sounds like they have too much Sark in them still.
