Texas didn’t give a shit. It was a boring lifeless game.

Our physicality in the first half, quite honestly wasn't up to our standards. Thought our guys regrouped well in the 4th quarter. Even with the adversity , we were in this to the end. One play, one break, a tipped ball, whatever. This could have gone our way.
Hats off to Washington and Coach DeBoer. He's done a really nice job there and they're an outstanding football team. The University of Washington and Seattle will always hold a special place in my heart.
I think we learn from this and the guys--and coaches for that matter--take this off-season to better our football team.
Our record doesn't reflect the quality of what we have here at Texas. We'll take a day and then get back after it. Watch the film and we will learn from this.
I know the brightest days for Texas football are ahead of us. Couldn't be more proud of what we're building here.
Those 5 losses, if you combine the score differential, we could just as easily be getting ready for a game Saturday night. I'll talk to our team about this. Couldn't be more fired up for our future. (Hook 'Em Horns sign) "Hook 'em Horns!"
