1) Have a conversation with Sark, even though you have no interest in hiring him.

2) Let it leak out that you interviewed Sark.

3) Woodward and doognation will crap their pants and offer Sark an extension.

4) You've just ensured that the sleeping giant in Seattle (UW) remains non-threatening.

Would it make a difference? We're just the vocal minority of batshit crazy assholes calling for Sark's firing.

Yep, this could be a giant woosh. Use Sark to cloud up the situation and prevent the media from knowing who the real candidates are.

Al Davis was notorious for this, he was also really good at interviewing assistants in the AFC West so he could get a bead on what his competition was doing.

We're not out of the woods yet.

NCAA rules require contacting the school before they talk to a coach under contract. Plus, I just don't see Franklin fitting the LA image that USC always goes for.

What will the Doogs excuses be when Sark fails at USC? When he is fired in the middle of an airport during year four?
 
I would ask Passion to put the pic of the praying dog from the doogman days, but the track record of the praying dog isn't very good.
