Isn't it amazing that the lessons I learned when I was in high school, kids who didn't pay for their own cars but who drove cars paid for by their parents, were the kids most likely to abuse and trash their cars, are things that are a complete mystery to most liberals.

Exactly, and in all honesty, it takes exceptional people who have been conditioned and socialized in morality and common decency to care about things they didn't work for. And even those people will be made not to care when they see people who have no sweat in the game be rewarded with benefits they didn't work for.
