Came here to point out exactly this. Browning did not play in a fourth quarter his entire senior year, including the state championship game, a game in which he went 27-35 for 445 and 6 TDs against Oceanside. They won 68-7 and forced a running clock (35 point or greater margin) in a fucking championship game! In fact, that team forced running clock finishes in 16 straight games his senior season.

And DDY hated Brownings tape and loves Sam’s tape. Does that prove Sam’s great and Browning’s not? No. It does suggest that people excited about Sam might not just be excited because of stats, though.

No one gives a shit about DDY.
