"I hope to keep that streak going of either an MVP or a lot of players committing to Washington," said Huard. "I look forward to playing and being there and representing the school. The goal is to have a good time but also to get guys over there to come play with me at UW."
Interestingly enough, he will be the third Huard to play a game inside Aloha Stadium and to wrap up a stage of his career in Honolulu.
Huard's father, Damon, played in the 1996 Hula Bowl in Aloha Stadium in his final game as a collegian before an NFL career.
Almost three years later, his uncle, Brock, played in the 1998 Oahu Bowl in what was his final game as a collegian before he too went on to the NFL.
"That will be kind of fun too with them playing there too, but it will be a fun way to end my high school career and get ready to play at UW," said Huard.
