Sam Huard, 5* 2021 QB, Burien (Kennedy), WA (COMMITTED)

This team didn't have Johnny Wilson this time around. In a tight field having a top 40 overall 6'6" receiver would have made a significant difference for sho

The throw to McMillan that gets the crowd reaction.

But the one that I loved is the throw to Adams at 4:26 an absolute laser in traffic.

That’s a throw our former starter couldn’t even make in his dreams.

Sam Huard and his FSP teammates played seven games over two days, and only three times did a possession not end in a score. From the accuracy, to the anticipation, seeing the field, the downfield touch and arm talent, 247Sports No. 1 ranked 2021 passer was as advertised in this setting, spreading the ball around to a very talented group of receivers. Defensive backs didn’t have a chance with Huard regularly putting 1-on-1 balls where only his guy could get it. The generously listed 6-foot-2 Huard ranks as 247Sports No. 13 prospect overall and is committed to in-state Washington. He has already been selected to the All-American Bowl.

"I hope to keep that streak going of either an MVP or a lot of players committing to Washington," said Huard. "I look forward to playing and being there and representing the school. The goal is to have a good time but also to get guys over there to come play with me at UW."

Interestingly enough, he will be the third Huard to play a game inside Aloha Stadium and to wrap up a stage of his career in Honolulu.

Huard's father, Damon, played in the 1996 Hula Bowl in Aloha Stadium in his final game as a collegian before an NFL career.

Almost three years later, his uncle, Brock, played in the 1998 Oahu Bowl in what was his final game as a collegian before he too went on to the NFL.

"That will be kind of fun too with them playing there too, but it will be a fun way to end my high school career and get ready to play at UW," said Huard.

How early should we book flights for the 2025 Hawaii Bowl?

I watched film on Lonyatta Alexander and Tinae recently and it could have been a highlight film for Huard. Fuck, he’s going to be good.
