Sam "Boston Lager" Adams, 4* 2020 RB, Bellevue (Eastside Catholic), WA (COMMITTED)

On a day where the Henry Toto speculation is rampant and ridiculous, let us not lose sight of how fucking awesome this commit and player is. While @Dennis_DeYoung would say this is one we should get and Boner gets no credit (don’t disagree), this is huge. He’s going to be a stud and gash D’s especially paired with Eason year 2 and Sam.
It's the best thing to happen to @Swaye this weekend, rather easily.

POTY quite easily.

"I told coach Pete (Chris Petersen) I wanted to commit two weeks ago and they were really excited when I committed," Adams told Dawgman.com shortly after announcing his decision. "When it came down to it, after I took my visits and sat down and added everything up, Washington was the right choice for me.

"The biggest thing was getting to rep for my city, but it was also the school -- it's one of the top colleges in the country, actually the nation -- and the staff. I just felt of all the schools that they were the ones who could develop me as a person and as a player the best.

"All of my options were great and I couldn't have gone wrong picking any of them, but Washington was the right decision and it means a lot to me that my family can see me play and I am around so many people who care about me and will help me succeed."

Adams's father Sam played for the Seattle Seahawks, so he's been around football since he was a small child and with two older brothers playing college and football, the family ties run deep.

"My dad has been a huge influence on me and my love of football," Adams said back in the spring. "He's been through it all -- high school, college and the pros -- so nothing really surprises him and he's helped guide me throughout the recruiting process and also what to expect from things with my team and getting prepared for the next level."

In addition to all of the positives that Washington presented, Adams also mentioned the fact that so many of the Huskies' great tailbacks have come from within the borders of the Evergreen State.

"It's amazing how many great tailbacks they have had that have come from the area and in the state," Adams noted. "Their last two -- Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed -- are guys I've grown up around and worked out with, so the follow in their footsteps is amazing and I know Salvon really well so it's great to have the chance to play with him once I arrive."

Adams will not be an early enrollee as he wants to enjoy his senior year and graduate in June of 2020.

He did mention he plans to get to work on the recruiting trail, most notably with teammates Gee Scott Jr. and Ayden Hector.

"It's time for me to start recruiting," Adams said with a chuckle. "Every player wants to get the best players they can around them, so I'm going to get to work and start doing that."[/b]

Checking in from the Spirit World to say that's the most fucking baller commit video ever. Sam Adams commitment is the only reason I didn't asphyxiate myself after the wedding. Later fags.

Did you almost die choking on something!?

What kind of marriage is this?

“When I look at the football program itself they have built a great program on the West Coast,” the elder Adams said. “They get guys from all over. They can compete on every level. Do they have as much talent as Alabama or Clemson, not yet they don’t, but they’re continuing to build and you don’t have to have the best talent to win. It helps to have a ton of bullets in the gun but you can only use 11 at a time.

“I’m just saying the University of Washington has enough talent to win a National Championship. They have enough talent to win the National Championship because Chris Petersen and his staff can coach. They can coach on offense, defense and special teams and they’re loaded. We won a Super Bowl (in Baltimore) with a ton of talent and great coaching but we didn’t have the most talent. We didn’t have the best at this, best at that. We were extremely talented on defense like the University of Washington is, and we could run the ball like the University of Washington can, and we had great coaches to put us in position to make plays like the University of Washington. And when I look at them they’re in position to win a National Championship soon.”[/i]

That's what I'm talking about! Big Sam knows what's up! We're going to win a national championship. Just a matter of time.

That's what I'm talking about! Big Sam knows what's up! We're going to win multiple national championships. Just a matter of time.

This is my favorite BALLZ. I wanna marry this BALLZ.

crystall balls from the big wigs and then a week later drops a top 15 just seems strange to me.

Seems kinda the norm. One of them interviews the kid and makes a CB based on that. Then the lemmings follow.

I think this one is a little different though considering some of the factors. Dads a former NFL players and gets that peterman gets it. Wants to stay close to home as they seem to be pretty tight knit sports family, Polk/Sankey/Gaskins tradition, etc.

I’m not saying the 3 wiseman took any of this into account prior to crystal donging it, that would require one to do their job and hacks don’t do that.

I still says he’s ours to lose and boner hits his layups. Give me Robinson and Adams and boner can do whatever he wants on IG and I won’t judge.

Bump

I meant Sunday, not Robinson. Fat fingers.
