Jokes aside, I think Peterman now realizes you can't dink around with elite prospects. He wouldn't have brought it up in an article about his recruiting. Maybe it was even a mea culpa to Eason. It's one thing to wait to offer when you are at Boise State competing with other MWC and WAC schools for QB's. It's another when you are competing with every elite school in the country.
