Not so sure Demond would leave with their starting 5 star rsfr qb. Demond is similar to being the Arizona Cardinals with Murray. Has a ton of talent, is a midget @creepycoug that holds the ball too long with one or two reads at best. He’s a jag between the ears with his decision making. Fisch is big part of the problem because Demond needs a real OC and not some retread former wr/qb coach masquerading as an OC.

I happen to think he's everything you look for in a QB.
Whatever point you're trying to coyly make is absurd and has no basis. Demond is really good and you trying to poke holes in it doesn't make you smart regardless of how many paragraphs you write about it

He's taking a couple sacks per game that are 100% on him. He'd rather hit the dirt than take a hit to his completion %. I know that's not really the case, but he'll never been more than good against bad teams if he doesn't learn to throw the fucking ball away. It's beyond a serious issue at this point.

It's a good point that a lot of the anointed young QBs like the guys you listed have really underwhelmed. I think we are getting really limited QB play now, and in the future, for a lot of reasons. The last time we had good QB play (2023) likely had to do with COVID giving guys extra time and second chances to develop - Penix, Nix, Jayden Daniels.

I have nothing to support this, but defenses are much better since the portal. Teams plug holes and there aren’t as many weak links to pick on like in the past. The really good programs reload and have stop gaps while their young guys get more seasoned. The defenses in CFB seemed much worse 5-10 years ago.
