I want Dan Lanning to take this job, not because it would kill the ducks (sadly that program will just turn some other pile of shit to gold), but I do want to see that weirdo under that much pressure.
 
Their redeemed former offensive coordinator led his mighty Texas squad to the playoff this year, and put up a mighty fine audition for the job in Bryant-Denny earlier this year. Just sayin…

I’d think so too and it’s dabo’s dream job, but Clemson has looked so bad lately + Dabo’s refusal to play the nil game—does Bama even want him?

Kdb isn’t taking that job. He seems like he likes the comparatively drama-free type gigs

Lanning takes it if offered. Bama and uga were always the two he’d leave for.

I’m sure sark and kiffin will beg for it, but unsure if they’d get saban’s recommendation

I'm really confident that it won't be KDB.

There is just nothing he has said or shown in his character that tells me he'd leave this soon. Not when UW appears to be 100% all in with him.

Bama is about the only place Dabo could get back to the top. They’ve been doing NIL at Bama for 50 years now (which is why Saban hated it being legalized). The head coach can pretend to hate it (like Dabo) and all his players will still be getting bankrolled from the cadre of local car and jet ski dealers that make up the Alabama boosters
