Ryan Grubb spotted at LAX

This is already becoming a huge trend. Any coach that can will move to the NFL so they don't have go deal with this NIL and transfer portal shit.Maybe a school like Bama getting fucked in the ass by this will bring about the change needed
We're officially minor league football. No up and coming coach has any desire to be a true college football coach like generations past. Building a program and having a first hand role in developing and mentoring young men was a huge draw that spoke to a lot of these mission-oriented coaches. They also tended to be turned off by the transient nature of the NFL and the relative lack of loyalty.
Well that's gone now and the NFL is unequivocally better in every sense of the job. This sport will just continue to be cycles of one year rentals of coaches and players as colleges becomes little more than pit stops to the big show.
Thanks ADs
AD'S?
This has been far bigger than them.
Probably a topic for the tug. I digress.

The good news (I guess) is that there are still plenty of coaches who will work for the compensation and prestige being offered at the college level - and will for years to come
The bad news (I guess) is that the majority of coaches who will have any sort of sustained success at the college level in this environment are going to look like more like Lanning and Cristobal - young guys who are dogged recruiters and motivators who have arguably less developed player development and/or game coaching bonafides who therefore make them less viable to get poached by NFL teams (until if/when they actually build those skills)

ADs, TV execs, Congress. Pick a villain. Real leadership is eschewing the popular and profitable decisions that work in the short-term and taking your medicine to build long-term viability. They all had the chance, none of them took it.
