Candace Owens is very intelligent, but she also knows controversy sells and to keep her name out front, she has to say whacky shit from time to time. Anytime I’ve watched a few min of Russell Brand’s show I’m incredibly bored.
The problem with the talking heads is the action/reaction stuff. They end up digging in so deep about the hot topics of the day that often barely exist. A lot of it is controversy just to get attention and people eat it up.
I watched a little bit of Candace Owens podcast awhile back and she was going on about how the word faggot wasn’t offensive. Reading the definition that it meant “bundle of sticks” and how gays and wokes shouldn’t have the right to change the meaning of words in order to be offended. It was so fucking stupid.
Most gay people don’t want to be called that word so I don’t. I also don’t get uptight and offended if someone I know does. You aren’t proving to be anti-woke by not using these terms. When you’re around someone that is blatantly and consistently racist, homophobic (hate that term btw), disrespectful to women, they are really fucking annoying and always seem to be trying way too hard.
Sorry to change the subject but I’m not going to watch these two windbags talk about socialism. Maybe I should tho since it’s 1 am and I’m still not sleeping. It might help.
