Wesleyan, who's been winning but looking for more speed early this spring season, found it and beat Williams at their house.

Williams is to Wesleyan in rowboat as Washington is to Cal. Actually, the small school rivalry is a bit more bitter.

This shapes up to a helluva New Englands and NIRCs. Bates, Wesleyan, Williams and Wellesley are bunched in, and Hamilton has come out of fucking nowhere this year with a fast boat and will be in the mix. Bates is the favorite, but the second and third spots are going to be hotly contested.
