Fair poont but it basically was in the 50's. The "valley" as it is now was ranches and shit.

This actually originates from my father who grew up in LB and was a part of the 50's/60's surf culture.

Another of his classics, "The Beatles were a fucking boy band until they started doing drugs. Then they made some decent music."
 
Beach Boys against Jimi next week. Not sure how I'm gonna vote on that one.
