I mean surely this coach has no clue what he is doing by moving Ross back to WR so he can ride the pine behind the all conference WR talent we have. I think you said he can't block? All this while coming off a horrible season where he was moved to defense because of an injury to Kelly. This is a quote from his freshman year, before his knee injury and before getting in Petersen's Dog house.

I said he is a potential All-Pro kickoff returner. So you post a video of him returning a kickoff. I said he cannot get open and just relies on his speed. So someone posts a video of a screen pass where he outruns mighty EWU. I did not say he cannot block, as referenced in your previous post. I did not say he has no WR skill; using speed is a WR skill.
I said the next time JR uses a football move to get open, it will be the first. I like Petersen. If he (Petersen) has enough confidence in his staff that they can teach Ross to get open via something other than speed/screen passes, then I trust him.

I think Petersen has looked at his roster, his coaches, and Ross, and determined the best spot for Ross and the team going forward is to have Ross at WR. I do not think the guy (Ross) is talentless. And yet he's still Ranked 31 out of 310 WR's as an NFL WR prospect, despite as you stated, never using a "football move"
In 2013 Ross was facing the duo of Ducre and Peters (I know there is a quote someplace from Peters about Ross but again too lazy to look it up).
