My take on the game...

Jake gave Utah 3 points, Victor gave them 4 and P-Slam gave them 7...

Should've been somewhere around 31-10...

Browning is a good QB. He would be a lot worse without Gaskin, Pettis, and the defense though.

I'm glad this game will finally put out the Heisman fire. He had no chance.
 
as grampa race says, the QB is rarely the savior. Browning fits this system, but it's the running game and the WR's that make this offense go

Hobert/Brunei is a good QB. He would be a lot worse without, Beno Bryant, Jay Berry, Nip, Mario Bailey, Bruener, Emtman, 91 D, etc ...

Browning is a g, but he was fucking up. Gaskin off tackle wasn't used enough.

That is mostly true. It's interesting because most QBs aren't going to be a savior and a really good QB can pull a few wins out of his ass. Good QBs have a great chance of success when surrounded by other good players. But take a great team with a dreck QB and they're going to struggle.

His Pre snap decisions are on point. How many Gaskin runs were audibles by Browning?

Don James barely beat a shitty USC and good Cal in his only perfect season.

I'll take the win and acknowledge it wasn't Browning's best outing.
 
Other than the pick and maybe one off target incompletion, I thought he did fine. Quarterback gets too much credit and takes too much of the blame.

Browning's worst game of the season and he completed 60% of his passes for 9.5 yards per attempt, two scores and a pick.

He wasn't at his best but he wasn't close to bad.

He's the best QB we've had since Tui and the best QB in the nation who doesn't play in the ACC.

He sucks.
