Rome > Reggie

I agree, but if you put Reggie in this scheme it would be comical

Rome would still be better. Rome beat the Beav by himself last night. He was the only receiver on the field who didn't have his hands dipped in Crisco before the game. While Polk was busy trying to resurrect the spirit and energy of Petersen era teams to shit the season away, Odunze carried the offense in his backpack.

Reggie never had to play in the high leverage and high pressure moments that Rome has played in. Not his fault that his teams topped out at 8 wins but Rome’s clutchness to make plays to win multiple games on 11+ win teams gives it to him in my view.

Reggie beat plenty of teams by himself. Let's keep it real.

I love me some Ja'lynn Polk.

Reggie had a false start penalty that killed a game in Tucson. He was not clutch.

Rome is bona-fide gamer. Reggie could have elevated teams but he didn't.

He's caught way more than he's dropped, but still

Me too, and I am calling last night an anomaly since we ended up winning but man did he completely shit the bed. After the first few drops it was mental. The whole "taking the golves off" (Hi Race!) to try and catch it better was when I knew he had mentally checked out of that game. Sure enough first ball thrown his way just completely through his hands again.

Sure, games didn't mean shit though.

His shit talking before the game about wanting the rain made him look real bright when he fucked up over and over.

Same except during El Niño.

Reggie's biggest accomplishments were destroying Trufant in the 2001 and 2002 Apple Cups. He faded once the team fell apart under Gilbertson.

Reggie was good against the ducks too.

The passing scheme under RN/Gilby was light years behind what UW is using now. The OL was shit so it basically amounted to getting Reggie the ball quick at the LOS and praying that he could break 3-4 tackles and get a first down.
