I am a huge fan of coaches calling out a few fans, but romar should be honest with himself and realize that this team has been unwatchable for a few years. It will take a little bit to earn back fans in this city.
I sure as hell hope we get a good crowd b/c it will hlep the team and bring the home court advantage back, but it's a bit naive to think that everyone will come rushing back after the poo poo platter which has been occurring.

Undefeated, at home, playing #13 in the country, on Sunday night, at 6:00pm with literally N-O-T-H-I-N-G competing with the event on TV or otherwise, after just signing his best recruiting class ever (everybody says so).
Romar admitted the last two seasons fell way short before reminding the audience it was just three seasons ago UW won 24 games and won the conference title.

Romar used to put one of the most exciting teams in college basketball on the floor every night. Then the 4 high offense happened. The last 3 years have been absolutely painful to watch. Romar is starting to get back to recruiting the players to go back to this style. Happy to say this team is showing much more promise defensively and is fun to watch most of the time.

I have always hated that chant. No better way to tell the world how shitty your own team is by yelling how overrated the opponent is for losing to you.
Unless you live in Berkeley, Boulder, Corvallis or Pullman this chant is rediculous.

After the last few years, I appreciate fucking winning. Plain and simple. We were losing to f-ing albany at home, and people are bitching about style points when beating a top 15 team.
